I got my hands nicely dirty planting two saplings (young pine trees) in the mountains at Baguio Botanical Garden. Gardening has always been a favourite of mine and Baguio Botanical Gardens have some unusual and exotic arrangements. My long nails got quite grubby indeed!
Baguio is making every effort to create environmental awareness by replanting and nurturing pine trees. These efforts will help secure the future of thousands of pine trees with long-term benefits for the residents of Baguio City, their children and generations to come.
Baguio is twinned with the city of Vaughan in Canada and this year the two cities are celebrating a decade of partnership.
