Red Princess Blues

Award winning writer/director Alex Ferrari invites you into the twisted and corrupt world of Red Princess Blues in his short film based on his feature length screenplay. In this modern day fairy tale ZOE, a young teenage girl, is lured into an after hours carnival tent by the sleazy rock n roll carnie RIMO, she then gets more then she bargained for. It is up to the mysterious PRINCESS, the star of the new knife-throwing act at ROSCOE'S FREAK SHOW & CARNIVAL to pull her out of the wolf's den that she has fallen into.

Red Princess Blues is part graphic novel, part spaghetti western and part martial arts extravaganza. It stars Richard Tyson as Rimo, Rachel Grant as Princess and is narrated by academy award nominee Robert Forster of Tarrantino’s Jackie Brown.

 

Red Princess Blues opened the Hollyshorts Film Festival in Hollywood in August 2010 and is currently being shown at festivals around the world. I was thrilled to win Best Actress and Best Fight at the 2010 ShockFest Film Festival in Los Angeles.
